Led Zeppelin tribute band Kashmir to play Memorial Hall The Ultimate Led Zeppelin Show set for Saturday, Oct. 10

By Emily Wilcox GateHouse News Service Posted Oct 07, 2009 @ 05:02 PM

PLYMOUTH — .If you close your eyes it’s the real thing. If you open them, it’s pretty darn close. Kashmir – The Ultimate Led Zeppelin Show will hit the stage at Memorial Hall at 8 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 10. “There’s no wigs; they live it and breathe it,” Dawn Christensen with Loretta LaRoche Productions said. Kashmir’s Jean Violet plays Robert Plant and has gotten used to the double-takes on the street as people pass and try to make sense of the visual. That’s Robert Plant. No, that can’t be Robert Plant; Robert Plant is significantly older than that guy. But he looks exactly like Robert Plant.

Dating Tips for Attracting Luscious Life Partnership Whether you are regularly getting out there or seeking a fresh start after a rough divorce, dating can be a vulnerable experience. The last thing you need or want is to create unnecessary drama when it comes to affairs of the heart. These dating tips will make the difference between dating being a draining or delicious experience.

Lesson #1- Get really clear what you are looking for IN A RELATIONSHIP. You wouldn’t plan a long road trip without a map or a destination. Then why get out there if you’re not clear what type of relationship you’re looking for? One of the first things I have my clients do is to make a "Needs/Wants/Wouldn’t it be Fabu!" Wish List FOR THE RELATIONSHIP. Focus on what qualities you want in your partnership. You may want someone with a sense of humor (who doesn’t?) but what you really need is a relationship that''s playful and can deal with challenges in a light open-open hearted manner. Remember, in vagueness, there’s discontent. Often this work is done best with a relationship coach.

Loretta LaRoche Productions Returns to Memorial Hall

By Emily Wilcox GateHouse News Service Posted Aug 16, 2009

PLYMOUTH — Erik Christensen has exactly two seconds. He hangs off the “Box Office” sign outside Loretta LaRoche Productions as the photographer snaps the shot, laughs and disappears inside where the conference call, the agents, the paperwork and more conference calls await. Loretta LaRoche Productions is returning to Memorial Hall, booking headlining acts, shows and comedy line-ups to knock everyone’s collective socks off. Christensen, who is president of the production company, is a past master at luring big acts and heavy-hitters like Jeff Corwin, Joan Baez, Arlo Guthrie, Joan Jett, Trace Adkins and Lee Ann Womack to Plymouth’s center stage. “Perhaps it’s a tribute to perseverance, or a tribute to the undeniable fact that you can’t keep a good thing down,” Christensen said. “That’s why it’s only fitting that a tribute band, Kashmir – the Ultimate Led Zeppelin Show – headlines the return of Loretta LaRoche Productions concerts to be held at Plymouth’s Memorial Hall.” The line-up begins with Kashmir Oct. 10, followed by Beatlemania Oct. 23, Women in Comedy Oct. 30, Texas Hold ’Em Vegas Style fundraiser Nov. 13, Perry Rossi’s Big Band Extravaganza Dec. 5, The Rat Pack Tribute March 7, Blues Festival 2010 on March 20, and a five-day, downtown Plymouth Rock Comedy Festival next summer.

Loretta LaRoche PBS Show

By Emily Wilcox

GateHouse News Service Posted Aug 07, 2009 @ 11:36 AM Last update Aug 07, 2009 @ 11:37 AM PLYMOUTH, Mass.

You may not think you need a dose of Laroche, but chances are you do. Particularly if you’re feeling tired, stressed or answering inquiries about your health with the typical “I’m fine” response. To Laroche, we are all pieces of fruit in charge of our own moods and destinies, and, if we decide and declare that we feel succulent, we simply will. Tapping scientific research, Laroche demonstrates the language-brain connection, pointing out that what we say about ourselves literally programs our brains. Complain about feeling tired for a while and watch how that feeling of fatigue magnifies, she says. PBS taped Laroche’s "Juicy Living, Juicy Aging" in February and April at the Duxbury (Mass.) Performing Arts Center to sold-out crowds. The show is airing this month on PBS stations across the country. Check local listings for a schedule.
