Christine Hurley was the First Runner Up in the nationally televised "Nick-At-Nites" search for America's Funniest Mom contest in 2005.  During the auditions and filming of the show, she was coached and mentored by comedic greats, Jeffrey Ross and Jeff Singer.  Out of 7,000 entrants, she made it to the finals of the show.  The most remarkable aspect of this quest is that, unlike most of the contestants, this was Christine's very first time on a comedy stage!  The producers felt that Christine Hurley had the "it" factor that most performers strive for, yet never achieve.  Her natural ability, intelligence and love of making people laugh gives her the inspiration to keep moving up the entertainment ladder.

Christine is the mother of 5 young children and is married to her childhood sweetheart, Jimmy Hurley.  Her humor is primarily observational, ("A day in the life" of Christine Hurley) that most everyone can identify with. She has the keen ability to find amusement and humor in everyday situations.  Christine also knows her audiences.  She's an extremely versatile humorist that can make you smile whether you are 8 or 80.  She can conduct a "clean show" yet, can do comedy that would make a Teamsters Convention blush!

Christine has performed at many corporate, PTO and fundraising events.  She can produce her own show that can last from 20 minutes to over an hour, or be a complimentary addition to a comedy line up.  She has performed in many halls and clubs including; The Comedy Connection and the Regent Theater in Boston, as well as The Friar's Club, The Laugh Factory and the Hudson Theater in New York City.  She has also filled the halls of large audiences (2,000 people) with hysterical laughter, such as the Palace Theater in Albany, NY. Christine has had the honor of performing with many great comedians such as; Jimmy Tingle, Tommy Dunham, Don Gavin, Kevin Knox, Paul D'Angelo, Dave Andrews, and Steve Sweeney.  She has also opened many shows for Loretta LaRoche and works with Loretta's production company.
