John Chappelear
John Chappelear energizes individuals and their organizations nationwide to create dynamic positive change. Last year he spoke to over 12,000 people. In conference rooms and auditoriums, his speaking, training and coaching instruct people how to better manage their lives both personally and professionally.
Instead of traditional topics: increasing sales numbers, better management of employees, or the bottom-line, (although these issues and more are dramatically improved), his program enhances leadership and communication skills which assures increased productivity and creativity while simultaneously reducing absenteeism and turnover.
More than thirty years of expertise building businesses from the ground up into top nationwide producers, as well as his experience as a husband and a father, qualifies John to provide leadership and guidance to people wanting to achieve success and significance for themselves and their organizations. His stories of sacrificing family and self to become a successful business owner and entrepreneur, only to lose everything in the end, offers listeners a hard-hitting glimpse of a life out of balance, guiding them to learn from his mistakes.
Throughout the country Chappelear delivers his inspirational message and humorous stories in talks, workshops and The Daily Six. He encourages audiences to examine their lives and change their focus from planning for a distant tomorrow to a living joy filled life today. For more than 14 years, his program The Daily Six has impacted individuals, organizations and associations. This instructional manual uses six simple strategies to change the focus of individuals and help them develop a more solid sense of acknowledgment, appreciation and gratitude for their entire lives. These concepts revolutionize the lives of individuals and revitalize their organizations.
Chappelear’s program now reaches national and international readers through his book, The Daily Six (G.P. Putnam’s Sons), winner of 2005 Best Book award from USA Book News. It is used in Florida graduate school studies at Jacksonville University and undergraduate studies at University of North Florida and Johnson Wales University. He leads workshops at the University of North Florida in: The Daily Six; Coaching and Mentoring and Leadership and Communication Skills.
Currently he’s working with a large regional electric and water utility company strengthening their Leadership Development Program.
