Steve Rich
Steve Rich is a columnist for Baystateparent Magazine and a humorist/comedian with the flare of storytelling in family and parenting dynamics. He approaches all of his stories from hands on experience!
Steve grew up in a small family with eight kids. Unfortunately, he was the first born which is another way of saying he was the free baby sitter. Now it took several years to realize that there is no such thing as peace in a house like that, so he traded all that in to live in a dorm and attend college at Catholic University of America in Washington DC.
Fresh out of college while at a Jersey Shore party, he met his wife. Then accidentally, while living in Massachusetts, he ended up having two kids within thirteen months. Not completely satisfied, thinking he could live on less sleep, he decided to have a third kid and a fourth. Now they all live together and Steve is sorta thinking about taking his wife and moving back to a dorm!
He has over the years started to understand his purpose on this planet, to inspire others with his Comic Relief! Showing parents that they’re doing a good job, because honestly they could not possibly be doing it the way Steve is. Impossible!
His Comedy is insanely observant, candid, truthful and full of razor-edge wit! You will recognize yourself in many of his stories but be the last to say, Yeah that is me too!
Steve has recently joined the family at Baystateparent Magazine as a columnist in 2011. He gives his advise as the father who knows it all....maybe! We love his advice in Dirty Laundry!
Steve sat as the Co-host of the Radio show, The Social Show on WATD 95.9 FM in 2010/ 2011
